Washpool National Park, covering an area of over 68,000 hectares (ha), is located on the edge of the Northern Tablelands and North Coast in north-eastern NSW. In 2014, the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) commissioned Eco Logical Australia to conduct a comprehensive vegetation survey of the eastern section of Washpool National Park (EWNP). This area, consisting of approximately 42 576 ha, includes the largest continuous patch of rainforest in NSW. This report details the results of this vegetation survey and includes sections on previous work undertaken in the study area, classification and mapping of the vegetation communities, a comprehensive plant species list, rare and threatened plant species, vegetation communities of conservation significance, introduced weeds of significance and management recommendations.
