Tilligerry State Conservation Area Vegetation 2006. VIS_ID 3831

Vegetation community mapping for Tilligerry State Conservation Area by Stephen Bell and Colin Driscoll, Eastcoast Flora Survey during 2005-06. A vegetation and survey mapping program of the Tomago Sandbeds (near Newcastle) and the Tomaree Sandbeds (Nelson Bay) principally to identify Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems (GDEs). The Tomago sandbeds occupy approx 100km2 of coastal sand vegetation and provide an important ongoing water supply to the metropolitan areas of Newcastle. The Tomaree Sandbeds 45km2 are also used for water supply to residentrs of Nelson Bay. VIS_ID 3831
