This is a repealed State Environmental Planning Policy and has been superseded by the State Environmental Planning Policy (Precincts – Western Parkland City) 2021 as part of the Department's initiative to consolidate State Environmental Planning Policies to simplify and provide certainty to the planning system.

Purpose The aims of this plan are to:(a) support the St Marys Environmental Planning Strategy, 2000 of the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning by providing a framework for the sustainable development and management of the land to which this plan applies, and (b) rezone certain land for urban and employment-generating development, and (c) rezone land for conservation purposes and conserve the significant heritage values of the land to which this plan applies, and (d) ensure that urban development on the land achieves desirable environmental, social and economic outcomes, and (e) provide opportunities for recreation facilities that meet the needs of the regional and local community, and (f) ensure that development of the land to which this plan applies is integrated with established surrounding areas.
