Vegetation Survey points. A survey of the tableland tract of the southern Monaro recording permanence, altitude, area, substrate and plant communities of the lakes sampled. Glacial lakes and swamps, and wetlands formed by depositional processes were not included in the survey. Four wetland plant communities defined from Cluster analysis of records from 65 lakes.
