Vegetation survey of Mount Grenfell Aboriginal Area. VIS_ID 3979

The composition and extent of the present vegetation within the Mt Grenfell addition (station) surrounding Mt Grenfell Historic Site is described and mapped. Thirty‐four quadrat‐based sites were sampled, with intensive field traverses, opportunistic sampling and aerial photograph interpretation. An additional six sites from the previous Mt Grenfell Historic Site survey were incorporated into the data analysis. Six vegetation communities are described and 234 taxa of vascular plants recorded from 59 families, eleven of which are considered to be rare and threatened
