Abstract |
Endangered Ecological Communities (EECs) for Wyong LGA mapped by Stephen Bell in 2009. This data originates from the vegetation map of 2008 which included a "EEC Equivalent" field in the attribute table. Subsequent work was done on the EEC subset exported from the vegetation map by Council in 2009. The category names were changed, some areas removed and boundaries possibly modified. No documentation exists for this additional work. VIS_ID 3904 Map footprint supplied only. Contact Central Coast Council for access to the vegetation map. |

Lineage |
The layer was provided by the Wyong Council alongwith the vegetation map under license. It is not a simple export of the EEC_EQIV field values. There have been modifications with EEC names and certain areas have been deleted. The original veg map contains 11 EECs while this layer contains 10. Scott Duncan noted in Feb 2013 that subsequent amendments to the mapping had most probably been carried out by David Tierney who is no longer working at Council.
