Vegetation Mapping of Snake Rock Aboriginal Reserve. VIS_ID 4015

The composition and extent of the present vegetation of Snake Rock Aboriginal Reserve is described and mapped at 1:50,000 scale from quadrat samples, field traverses and aerial photograph interpretation. Two broad vegetation communities are described and 51 taxa of vascular plants recorded from six sample sites, seven of which are regionally significant. Modifications to the vegetation communities within the study area have occured with past clearing and grazing, however small areas of rocky outcrop and box woodland remain. VIS_ID 4015
