Tuggolo Creek Nature Reserve vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr Lachlan Copeland in 2007 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Tuggolo Creek Nature Reserve lies approximately 80km SSW of Walcha.

A systematic veg survey was conducted March - May 2007 which included the collection of 22 full floristic plots. The data was analysed by PATN. Five distinct vegetation communities were recognised and mapped with two of these (Montane peatland/swap and Snow Gum Grassy Woodland) currently listed as endangered.
