Melaleuca biconvexa mapping for the Shoalhaven - VIS_ID 4679

Map of Melaleuca biconvexa (Bioconvex Paperbark), a vulnerable plant species under the NSW TSC Act, within the Shoalhaven LGA. In total, 250 ha of habitat was mapped as containing Melaleuca biconvexa in the St Georges Basin study area. This represents approximately one third of the mapped distribution of the species, although the extent of this species on the North Coast (Port Macquarie-Great Lakes) currently remains undocumented. The distribution within the St Georges Basin area is almost exclusively (90% of 250 ha) restricted to private lands. Mapping of patch condition and a prioritisation of patches has also been undertaken as part of this work.VIS_ID 4679
