Lineage |
Two main approaches employed in the derivation of these data: 1. Vegetation classification – achieved through field sampling, followed by statistical analysis of field data (PATN analysis) to produce descriptions of floristic groups ( i.e. vegetation communities); 2. Mapping - achieved through the delineation of map units/vegetation boundaries utilising air-photo interpretation (API), existing vegetation information/maps, followed by attributing each map unit with one of the vegetation community names. |
