Grey-headed Flying-fox Foraging Habitat Vegetation Types (GRID)

Mapping of the foraging habitat areas of the Grey-headed Flying-fox in New South Wales. The Grey-headed Flying-fox is listed as a threatened species under state and Commonwealth legislation. The key threatening process for the species is loss of foraging habitat, and recovery actions aim to identify and protect key foraging areas.This project defined foraging habitat for Grey-headed Flying-foxes, ranked native vegetation within the range of the species according to the quality of foraging habitat it provides.
